Current Calculation
Weighted Sum = (0.50 × 0.70) + (0.30 × -0.40) + -0.10
= 0.130
Output = 1(sum ≥ 0, neuron fires)
Decision Rule
Fires when weighted sum ≥ 0. The threshold creates a linear boundary in input space.
Weight Influence
Larger |weight| = stronger influence. Positive weights support activation, negative oppose it.
Bias Effect
Shifts the decision boundary. Positive bias = easier to activate, negative = harder to activate.
