What does a unit test typically verify?
The short version
Think of the pyramid like health screening: a thermometer (unit test) quickly checks one vital sign in isolation; a blood panel (integration test) checks how several systems interact; a full-body MRI (e2e test) catches anything but takes an hour and costs a lot. You get a thermometer reading every morning, not an MRI.
